Anomis illita

Okra Leafworm Moth (Anomis illita) Photographed on Oct 13 and almost did not see that it was a new to Allen Acres and to Louisiana moth. Wonder how many other moths have escaped by notice. Caterpillars of this one reported to eat okra, no surprise plus several other members of the Malvaceae; Abutilon, Althaea rosea, Gossypium hirsutum, Hibiscus cannabinus, Hibiscus syriacus, Malachra capitata, Montezuma speciosissima, Sida, Thespesia populnea, and Urena sinuata. Also Lycopersicon in the Solanaceae.
